Pak Choi with Wontons

  • Wontons
  • 200g of minced pork
  • 10 king prawns (sliced into big chunks)
  • 1 spring onion (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • Pepper for seasoning
  • Chicken broth
  • 1 chicken leg
  • Small piece of ginger
  • Pak Choi 200g per person


  1. Make Chicken Broth
    • Put chicken leg and sliced small ginger in a pot – cover with water.
    • Bring to a boil and then simmer for 40 minutes.
  2. Prepare wontons
    • Place pork in large bowl
    • Slice spring onion and prawns - add to bowl
    • Add light soy sauce and pepper (mix well)
  3. Cook wontons
    • Wrap wontons x 12 (in any way you wish)
    • Bring Chicken Broth to boil
    • Cook wontons in hot chicken broth (4.5 minutes each batch)
  4. Cook Pak Choi and add to soup. Serve straight away.
